A special note on something more obscure:

In the past, Renadi collaborated very intensively with several musicians on improvisational lines. Definitely not for the faint of heart! From the abundant stock of recordings several albums were compiled with a selection of the best only (ranging from 1979 to 2003). Adventurous, unusual musics delivered with power, sensitivity and dedication. These are being published for the first time on the Jamendo music-sharing site, probably the no. 1 in the world, with more to follow.

Sunday 16th january 2011 will be the day of the CD presentation by Gong Tirta. 'Tales of Two Continents' spans music from 25 years of Gong Tirta in new, exciting arrangements, brought live by ensemble Gong Tirta.

The event will take place at the Tropentheater Amsterdam. A more appropiate venue is hardly imaginable, Gong Tirta has, throughout the years, entertained and educated young and old in the venerable Tropenmuseum with their versatile brand of gamelanmusic.

The new CD will contain compositions by a.o. Ruth Bouman, Luiz Yudo, Ketut Sudanegara and Renadi himself. Highly recommended for both old and new afficionados of all ages from 8 years and up!
